Portland “Social Justice Summer Camp” Uses ‘Expert’ (Anarchist) Teachers to Show 10-13 Year-Olds How to “Blockade” & “Free” Animals

Portland’s Professional Protesters™ have raided fur farms, set fire to SUV’s and ski resorts, run companies they didn’t like out of town, threatened people with violence, attacked police officers, pooped on American flags, manufactured IED’s and Molotov Cocktails, shot at least one person, and stopped thousands of Oregonians from going – anywhere, shouted down and drowned out people they don’t agree with and done millions of dollars in damage to the downtown Portland, Oregon area.

Now they’re passing along their bag of tricks to ten-year-old kids.

No, it’s not an article in The Onion or The Babylon Bee, this is real and real serious.

The Portland Professional Protesters™ have planned a “summer camp” to teach children, from fourth to eighth grade, the not-so-fine-art of professional Monkey-Wrenching. Apparently, this is the second year of the effort.

Instead of teaching kids about making a fire, flora, fauna and swimming, this day-camp, held this year at St. Peter and Paul Church on SE 82nd Avenue – nee “Avenue of the Roses,” from August 12 – 23 – teaches kids how to become politically involved through blocking streets, finding “allies” to help them strong arm their ideas into the public sphere, and freeing ‘caged’ lab animals held by evil corporations.

The “Budding Roses Summer Camp,” refers to how these babes-in-the-woods learn how to become anarchists and part of the Portland’s Professional Protesters™ world. The story is told in their own photos.

They take a page from their older teachers and brethren in the “Black Rose Anarchist Federation,” whose members undoubtedly comprise Portland’s Antifa black bloc (they’re all the same people).

The group’s Facebook page tells the story of how the radical protesters use “anarchist pedagogy in action” to teach the kids.

Anarchist Teaching Tools From Budding Roses Summer Camp Facebook Page

Here, from the 2018 ‘summer camp’ we see that the girls pictured here on the group’s Facebook page learned how to war-game freeing animals from evil corporations, because, after all, “they destroy nature.”

Sure, no indoctrination going on here or anything.

Here’s a close up of what those kids were thinking about:

And their teacher featured in the above photo, is a self-avowed anarchist with the “Black Rose Anarchist Federation.”

These students are pictured discussing going after ICE at the “detention center.”

That’s weird. I’m reminded of something. What could it be?

Protesters Chase Portland ICE Agents; Clash With Police

From these photos, freely seen on the group’s Facebook page, it doesn’t appear as if anyone is asked to come in and explain rights and responsibilities as a citizen. I guess that’s just no fun.

It won’t be long before the kids are taught that this is the way to get sh*t handled on the streets.

Protesters Literally Poop on the American Flag … because.

And the kids seem to aspire to the usual Antifa tactics, such as covering their faces so cops can’t ID them.

And kids getting masked up for a photo opportunity at the 2018 camp.

Nice social justice fists, kids. What do those fists remind me of?

Oh, yes:

Going after the “man” with the old hammer and sickle, right kids?

A chip off the old block – black bloc, I mean:

It won’t be long before the kids learn that “snitches get stitches.”

And, no doubt, they’ll learn how to arm-up for street battle like their teachers in anarchist/Antifa groups:

Weapons Used by Anarchists & Antifa, Portland Police Bureau

The group supporting this camp makes no effort to hide the tactics and methods it teaches the kids.

Though, obviously, the camp doesn’t put an emphasis on spelling:

‘Froots’ and ‘barris’ only. ‘Cash’ is spelled correctly, however.

Teachers at Portland Public Schools have already conspired – yes, conspired – with local violent protesters to allow students out of class to protest their pet progressive issues. A lawsuit filed recently has taken the District to task for it.

Now Antifa and anarchist groups are grooming grade-schoolers to do the same.

‘Nice’ mask, kid.

It might be interesting to see if a kid, say from a normal Portland family, would wear a wire to this two week camp to check things out.

Judge Crushes Berkeley Antifa Leftist’s Attempt to Hide Her Activism on Public Time.

We first saw Yvette Felarca attacking a guy who came to hear Milo Yiannopoulos at Berkeley in February of 2017. Before the night was over Antifa and BAMN (By Any Means Necessary) had started fires, caused violence and shut down the speech by the controversial social commentator.

Felarca leading the mob attacked on this guy.

She’d created quite a name for herself in the official Leftist thugocracy as noted here by the conservative legal watchdog group Judicial Watch:

“Felarca is a prominent figure in By Any Means Necessary (BAMN), a group founded by the Marxist Revolutionary Workers League that protests conservative speaking engagements. In 2016, Felarca and two of her allies were arrested and charged with several crimes, including felony assault, for inciting a riot in Sacramento. Earlier this year, Felarca was ordered to stand trial for assault.”

Worse, we learned that the diminutive street thug was actually a paid government employee working as a middle school teacher!

That’s when Judicial Watch sought legally available public records on the teacher from the Berkeley Unified School District:

“Felarca had sued the BUSD in federal court to keep the school district from fulfilling its legal obligation to provide Judicial Watch with records of their communications mentioning: Felarca, Antifa, and/or BAMN. Judicial Watch also asked for Felarca’s personnel file.”

Felarca sued to block the school district from giving over the legal records and lost. Big.

“U.S. District Judge Vince Chhabria, Northern District of California, who had previously ruled that Felarca’s lawsuit was “entirely frivolous,” wrote in his ruling awarding legal fees to Judicial Watch that Felarca and her co-plaintiffs’ First Amendment claims were “premised on the obviously baseless assumption” that the First Amendment condemns the speech of some while condoning the ideological missions of others.”

The teacher, who apparently didn’t know that the First Amendment applied to all Americans, even people with whom her highness disagrees, not only had her lawsuit thrown out, she was ordered to pay all of Judicial Watch’s court costs and legal fees.

“Yvette Felarca, a middle school teacher in the Berkeley Unified School District (BUSD), and two co-plaintiffs were ordered to pay Judicial Watch $22,000 in attorney’s fees and $4,000 in litigation costs.

Judge Chhabria added that “The plaintiffs also mischaracterized the documents under review” [shocker] and that the plaintiffs “failed to grapple with the role Ms. Felarca played in making herself a topic of public discourse through her physical conduct at public rallies and her voluntary appearance on Fox News.

Along with Felarca’s $20,000 payment, co-plaintiffs Lori Nixon and Larry Stefl were ordered by Judge Chhabria to pay Judicial Watch $1,000 each (Yvette Felarca, et al., v. Berekely Unified School District, et al. (No. 3:17-cv-06282-VC)).

Judicial Watch is entitled to attorney’s fees because the plaintiffs’ lawsuit was frivolous, and their litigation conduct was unreasonable,” Judge Chhabria wrote in his order.”

The humorless woman who claimed that people on the right, such as Yiannopoulos, with whom she disagreed were “fascists,” “killers” who believed in “genocide” and said that the gay and (born) Jewish Yiannapoulos was a homophobic genocidal man bent on another “holocaust” and didn’t have the right to speak.

“This is a huge victory for Judicial Watch against Antifa and the violent left,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said. “Ms. Felarca attacked Judicial Watch without basis and the court was right to reject her ploy to deny our ‘right to know’ because we don’t share her violent left views.”

Thanks Judicial Watch for once again showing the way.

Here’s Why the Imam of Portland, Or. Jihadi Terrorist Factory Got Kicked Out of the Country

The Imam of the Islamic Center of Portland, Mohamed Sheikh Abdirahman Kariye, has been stripped of his citizenship and booted from the United States.

Mohamed Sheikh Abdirahman Kariye, imam of the Islamic Center of Portland, aka Masjed As-Saber (Mosque of the Sword)

Kariye has been on the Department of Homeland Security “no fly list” since after 9/11. Local terrorist defense lawyers have been fighting to get him off the list since. But it appears that the imam’s track record was simply too much for the feds to ignore.

It sure took long enough. The name “mosque of the sword” is like a blinking neon sign.

Kariye presided over the radical Islamist teachings at the Masjed As-Saber mosque and, according to court documents and first hand accounts, he encouraged violent jihad, financially helped people who wanted to join the mujahideen and sent them to Afghanistan and elsewhere for weapons and tactical training.

Kariye was shown to have fraudulently applied for citizenship. His citizenship was stripped and he was ordered out of the country. He’s in “Somaliland” as we speak.

How it took this long to boot this thug from the U.S. is a wonder, but chalk it up to the law fare crowd in Portland whose legal parrying prolonged his stay. This terrorist bar also defended Gitmo detainees and Mohamed Osman Mohamud, the Portland Christmas tree bomber.

The evidence of violent jihad emanating from this mosque couldn’t be clearer. In his federal terrorism trial in Portland, Mohamed Osman Mohamud, the Christmas tree bomber, raved about the mosque in an email, “It’s cool. Saber or something. Yeah, Saber. It’s legit.” Mohamud had attended the mosque as a public school student. He also attended a Muslim Brotherhood-connected mosque during his stint at Oregon State University.

Mohamud wrote for both Inspire Magazine and Jihad Recollections

The young man who wrote for two jihadi magazines and twice tried to detonate his hand built bomb that would flatten two square blocks of downtown Portland – killing thousands of Christians at a Christmas tree lighting – knew the mosque he’d prayed at as a junior high student was a “legit” place to hear about violent jihad.

He wasn’t the only one. Kariye’s mosque produced the so-called “Portland 7,” a clan of extremist Muslim fundamentalists who raised money to travel overseas to train and fight American soldiers in Afghanistan.

Six of the “Portland 7” Terror Cell from Masjed As-Saber

The FBI says Kariye and members of the mosque provided money for their terror trip.

One of the Portland 7 bagmen was Maher Hawash, who it might interest you to know was a former acquaintance of mine (our kids went to school together) in his pre-jihadi days. I and most others knew him as “Mike,” a name he abandoned as he became more radical. He too was a Masjed as-Saber member and is doing time in federal prison for his complicity in the case.

Maher “Mike” Hawash, jihadi bagman of the Portland 7

The FBI also contended that Kariye had direct connections with Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda connected groups. But the imam has been in the U.S. fomenting violence for the nearly 20 years since he came on the FBI/DHS radar.

But that’s not the end of the story. Oregon is a hotbed of all kinds terror activity.

A nine-year federal investigation busted an Eco and Animal terrorist group called “The Family” that spearheaded terror activities from Vail, Colorado, San Diego, Eugene and Portland.

A torched ski lodge in Vail, Colorado

The Bly, Oregon jihadi training camp was attended by “carloads of terrorists” from all over the world, but those details were downplayed by the local press.

Details of Bly, Oregon’s jihadi training camp came out in the trial of the notorious imam Abu Hamza al-Masri of Finsbury Park mosque in London

A Portland Water Bureau employee was busted for supporting jihad.

An Ashland “charity” Al Haramain funneled money to jihadist Chechen rebels.

Two businesses selling fur and outer wear were attacked by violent protesters who drove one out of business. They drove a restaurant out of business for serving foie gras.

Protesters picketed, threatened and targeted scientists conducting animal research.

White nationalist groups also call parts of the area ‘home.’

The list goes on.

This is the ‘progressive’ town after all that indulges lawlessness of all kinds – even from designated terrorist groups. It gives a pass to Antifa, its Anarchist brethren, animal rights terrorists who drive out businesses and threaten and carry out violence.

Victims of the violence often lose in court to the violent protesters because of far left jurors, prosecutors and judges. Even on the federal bench/bar.

As I’ve chronicled for many years now Portland has turned into a lawless petri dish. The only thing shocking about this case is that the imam got booted at all.

Trump Calls Portland State Cow Bell Incident – Which Drowned Out Mike Strickland – “Disgraceful” in Signing Exec Order on Campus Free Speech

President Trump called the incident involving the Antifa/Anarchist cow bell ringer drowning out a speaker at Portland State University earlier this month “disgraceful” and “horrible” on Thursday.

The Cow Bell Boy drowned out Portland journalist Mike Strickland for more than an hour before he left. Police stood by watching as Strickland was prevented from giving his presentation on his notorious Portland case. Eventually, order was restored because the Antifa cow bell ringing hype man and his two wingmen left. They were never cited by Campus Police.

Antifa Hype Man Disrupted Mike Strickland Speech for More Than an Hour on March 6 at Portland State University as Police Stood By and Let It Happen

Trump said,

“Even as universities have received billions and billions of dollars from taxpayers many have been increasingly hostile to free speech and to the First Amendment, you see it all the time.

You turn on the news and you see things that are horrible. You see people being punched hard in the face. …And you’ve seen the cow bell scene. You saw that horrible scene. That was a disgraceful thing at a school, at a university.”

CBS News reported that Trump’s Executive Order would make schools pay for crowding out conservative voices on campus:

“The president’s executive order Thursday is meant to pressure schools to permit free speech and expression on college campuses. Mr. Trump has threatened to pull federal funding if they don’t. The First Amendment already prohibits the government from quashing free speech.”

“The president’s executive order Thursday is meant to pressure schools to permit free speech and expression on college campuses. Mr. Trump has threatened to pull federal funding if they don’t. The First Amendment already prohibits the government from quashing free speech.”

While CBS News is correct that “the First Amendment already prohibits the government from quashing free speech,” the reality on campus is quite different as you can see from the video taken of the Cow Bell Boy in action:

Criminal Charges Are Dropped Against Driver Surrounded by Antifa ‘Protesters’ on Portland Street

The Oregonian reports this afternoon that criminal charges have been dropped against a man who continued to drive as Antifa protesters attempted to block his way.

Protesters moved out of the way as Mark Dickerson slowly drove through …

when one of the protesters came back and, like an intentional foul while dribbling in traffic, allowed himself to be ‘hit’ by Dickerson’s car.

Today, police released the dash cam video of the incident:

Prosecutors said the incident was Dickerson’s fault.

Dickerson’s incident took place after Antifa and Black Lives Matter ‘protesters’ blocked traffic in the aftermath of a police involved shooting and blocked another section of downtown Portland.

This above incident was done in full view of a flaccidly responding police officer, who watched from the safety of his motorcycle.

Antifa had also chased a man down the street and surrounded his car in a clash that made national news:

It’s precisely these attacks that give rise to charges that Antifa runs the streets of Portland.

And this is what the Antifa and Black Lives Matter ‘protesters’ said to drivers as they passed by:

“Yah, you little white little fucker! You’re a little whitey aren’t cha? … Just please turn right … You are a little whitey supremacist! … we don’t need your KKK … you fucking hit me right now, I’ll beat the shit out of you.

One upset driver told the ‘protesters,’ “Look, you don’t pay my bills, so shut the fuck up!” She drove where they wanted her to, however.

Prosecutors reportedly claimed that their star witness, identified as Arthuray Dudley, supposedly the brother of the man killed by police, would have sewn up their case against Dickerson, but he didn’t show up in court on Monday. Dickerson’s attorney said he would prove Antifa was responsible.

Here Are Emails & Flyers Showing Portland, Oregon Teachers & Administrators Organized ‘Student’ Anti-Gun Walk Outs & Why Parents Are Now Suing in Federal Court.

The Portland Public Schools and Superintendent Guadalupe Guerrero are being sued in federal court for using tax money to orchestrate a mass anti-gun mass walk-out by students.

The civil rights lawsuit, brought by two sets of Portland parents, allege that Portland Public Schools went to great lengths to produce the 2018 demonstrations which saw thousands of students leave classrooms and take pictures of themselves with anti Second Amendment, anti NRA and anti-gun signs.

The parents’ attorney, James Buchal, a civil rights attorney and head of the Multnomah County Republican Party, said the lawsuit “demonstrates the extraordinary degree to which PPS officials have misused scarce educational resources for narrowly partisan and political objectives.”

The 31-page complaint included emails and photos demonstrating what Buchal said was collusion between administrators and school officials to work with anti-gun groups to “groom” students into ‘leading’ the walk outs.

The complaint reads in part:

“A continuous disinformation effort was made by defendants to portray demonstration efforts as student-led. For example, an Assistant Principal at Laurelhurst School reported on February 27th: “We just got off the phone with our Sr. Director and his guidance was to keep this as student centered as possible.” He suggested that teachers identify useful studentproxies so that he and another school official could have lunch with them for event planning, though phrasing his request as “see[ing] what they want to do” (See Exhibit 26). Offering young students who took one side of a controversial political issue private lunches with senior school officials is and was intended to be seductive, to groom, recruit and motivate students to the political cause favored by defendants, in order to reinforce and achieve the political goals of the defendants. Upon information and belief, no PPS administrator or teacher invited pro-Second- Amendment students to have lunch with them to see what they wanted to do, and PPS offered no school resources to pro-gun students similar to those PPS provided to anti-gun students.”

Such efforts at the very least defied the District’s own policies.

In fact, the lawsuit shows memos, flyers, emails (using official PPS email system and contacts) and other examples of teachers and administrators plotting to, not only organize the advertised “student led” walk outs, but providing helpful maps on walk out map routes around schools, lesson plans, and the official color students should wear:

A teacher provided students with how to write and lobby elected officials for gun control:

The lawsuit also alleges that developmentally disabled students were used by organizers to hold signs even though they couldn’t understand them:

“Even younger, or developmentally disabled students, incapable of reasoned choice as to participation, were pressed into service as pawns and props by defendants. Oneparent complained: “Our special needs 5th grader doesn’t understand why he had to wear a sign around his neck and march around the school….” (Exhibit 29) (Nextdoor posting)).”

It was so obviously a school-led event that parents had to opt out their children or they’d be required to participate in the walk out.

Schools changed their bell schedules to add an extra period so students breaking the district’s own policies wouldn’t be marked absent.

The walk outs were an orchestrated commemoration of the 17 students murdered at the Majory Stoneman High School in Parkland, Florida in 2017 by a mentally deranged gunman and former student.

The shooting was horrible enough of course, but Buchal provided proof that students were “emotionally manipulat[ed]” by “misleading propaganda” to “create political theater designed to manipulate public opinion and pressure elected officials to ban guns.”

Buchal says there was never mention of the Parkland school’s own complicity in the violence, beginning with the PROMISE program that refused to arrest and treat the mentally ill student, to the armed school resource officer who cowered outside while students were being shot inside the school.

Buchal, a Harvard educated and Yale trained lawyer, argues that by forcing parents to subsidize the political activities of teachers and administrators, it “… violates their First Amendment rights, and that the pervasive climate of indoctrination and intimidation within the Portland schools also unconstitutionally interferes with the free speech rights of students.  The suit also seeks to compel PPS to complete its long-overdue response to the Public Records Act request, pointing out that the Multnomah County District Attorney previously ordered PPS to complete the production by December 6th

I would have posted this last Thursday when I heard about it, but family commitments prevented it. However, the later timing allowed me to see the ‘coverage’ this important story got.

Willamette Week headlined its story “Multnomah County GOP Chairman Sues Portland Public Schools Over Gun Control Protests,” intentionally leaving the impression that it was the GOP bringing the lawsuit. Nothing wrong with that if it were the truth, but it’s not.

It was also amusing to see the AP story about it, which included a quote from the District spokesman calling the lawsuit “baseless.”

Former Oregonian political-writer-turned “director of strategic communications and outreach” for PPS, Harry Esteve, sees it as “baseless” I suppose because to see it otherwise might encourage citizens to look at Buchal’s legal exhibits revealing Esteve’s latent and overt fingerprints all over this manufactured event.

Michael Strickland Tells Own Story of Portland State/ College Republican Free Speech Event-Turned-Antifa-Free-Speech-Killing, Cow Bell Ringing Free-for-All

“My name is Michael Strickland” is how the Portland area citizen journalist began his story at the nationally prominent Gateway Pundit website.

Strickland’s speech was interrupted Tuesday night by a cow bell ringing, man-banned member of a Antifa/Anarchist group (they’re the same thing in Portland – just add a balaclava!) and his cadres, who are now full partners in Portland Professional Protesters, Inc.™ and who seem to receive full support of City Hall and Police Bureau.

As he wrote at Gateway Pundit, his planned speech was about how his First Amendment rights had been stripped away after being arrested for defending himself against Antifa in July of 2016:

On March 5th, 2019, The College Republicans invited me to Portland State University to speak about what happened to me on July 7th, 2016, when I was out filming a protest, exercising my right to freedom of the press.

As we mentioned here, Portland State University officials were asked to comment on how Campus Police did their jobs in allowing Antifa thugs to disrupt Strickland’s presentation.

The University issued a statement, which Strickland notes was full of inaccuracies and mischaracterizations:

Beyond the fluff and inaccuracies in that press release, what PSU’s head of public relations, Chris Broderick, can’t even get right is that my speech was not based around the 2nd Amendment. I believe my case is rooted in the 1st Amendment, and that’s what I was there to talk about. The name of the presentation was “How The 1st Amedment Was Invalidated.” The Republican club met with advisors and campus security the week prior to the event to discuss what the event was about. Broderick and his staff of 19 bureaucratic paper pushers are either incompetent, too lazy to do basic research and due diligence, or they are intentionally lying to the public.

Fox News Spot Lights Antifa Cow Bell Boy Drowning Out College Republicans’ Strickland Free Speech Event at Portland State

Michael Strickland’s ‘free speech’ event before the College Republicans at Portland State University became a car-crash of an event after Antifa-Anarchist (but I repeat myself) ‘protesters’ disrupted it by ringing a cowbell incessantly and shouting to drown out Strickland’s speech. See my stories on it here, here, here, and here.

Cow Bell Boy dingles his dangle to interrupt Mike Strickland.

Fox host Laura Ingraham took the measure of what happened Tuesday night by stating, “The chilling effect continues, long after the event is disrupted.” She lead her program off with the topic which she named “The Anti-Free Speech Thugs.”

It’s an apt description.

Strickland’s YouTube channel Laughing at Liberals posted Ingraham’s segment:

Ingraham reported that her staff called 17 Portland State University administrators for comment and only one – the PR guy – sent her this richly ironic statement, which reads in part:

We commit to inclusion of historically marginalized communities and those underrepresented in higher education.”

Ingraham laughed and told her guests that conservatives are among the most marginalized communities on any campus.

Among those commenting on the case were Portland area journalist Andy Ngo, Professor Victor David Hanson and Dinesh D’Souza who’s had these Leftist tactics used on him many times before.

Stories of Strickland being attacked by Antifa and drawing his weapon (no shots were fired) to defend himself are here. The journalist was jailed and his First and Second Amendment rights stripped. His case is on appeal.

Video: Antifa Cow Bell Boy Who Drowned Out Strickland Portland State Free Speech Event Brags, “I’ve been totally successful, I’ve shut this entire Sh** down all by myself.” Wow.

As I’ve reported here and here, the Antifa/Anarchist protester who disrupted a presentation on free speech by Mike Strickland was bragging about his ‘success’ within hours of leaving Portland State University Tuesday night:

In fact, as you may have seen by the video taken by journalist Andy Ngo and picked up by The Daily Caller, Cow Bell Boy was bragging about how he’d “shut this entire shit down all by myself” before he left to go home to his mom’s basement:

Portland Leftist Crashes College Republicans Meeting

How the left promotes free speech…

Posted by The Daily Caller on Wednesday, March 6, 2019

Videographer Nate Millsap verbally challenged the protester and his buddies to state their business instead of simply shutting down the speaker. See how that went here.

After the more than hour-long disruption, Mike Strickland was able to continue to talk about his case, freedom and liberty, albeit a truncated version.

Free speech my ass.

Strickland was prosecuted for pulling his licensed concealed carry handgun to stop a phalanx of Antifa protesters who had conspired to beat him out of a July 2016 Don’t Shoot Portland/Black Lives Matter protest. They’d already beaten him once at the same event. No shots were fired. In fact, Strickland was so poised during the onslaught that his finger never came close to the trigger. For defending himself he was sent to jail. His case is on appeal.

Antifa’s ‘Cow Bell Boy’ Was Verbally Challenged at Strickland-Portland State U. Free Speech Event & Before You Could Say ‘Man-Bun,’ the Issue of ‘Toxic Masculinity’ Came Up.

The PSU College Republican presentus-interruptus by Mike Strickland is now becoming national news.

You can find the background I’ve posted on Mike Strickland and his First and Second Amendment case at this VictoriaTaft.com link.

Video of Strickland’s presentation, disrupted for more than an hour by Antifa/Anarchist protesters, one of whom we’ll just call Cow Bell Boy, was broadcast by many sources, including on Twitter by journalist Andy Ngo. It was picked up by The Daily Caller and featured prominently on the publication’s Facebook page. You’ll want to turn down the sound a bit if you’re at work:

Portland Leftist Crashes College Republicans Meeting

How the left promotes free speech…

Posted by The Daily Caller on Wednesday, March 6, 2019

Like a toddler who learns he can control Mom and Dad by throwing a wing ding, Cow Bell Boy rang his dingle dangle, shouted and made hiccup-like “yep!” sounds worthy of Dave Hester from “Storage Wars” to stop free speech in a public room. He later boasted, “I’ve been totally successful, I’ve shut this entire shit down all by myself.” He had two helpers with him, but basically, Cow Bell Boy was right. Police officers present did nothing.

During the dingle-dangle-wing-ding, videographer Nate Millsap said to him:

“I was just wondering if you had any balls to say what you are standing for or not standing for. You just shut people down and that is all that you know.”

Pondering his answer – or was he considering his balls? – as the diminutive man-bunned protester looked up at the six-foot-five, 280-pound boulder-sized Millsap, he creepily responded,

“Oooh, toxic masculinity!”

Millsap, who curates the YouTube channel Stumptown Matters, told VictoriaTaft.com that he laughed and responded:

“I’ve got all the masculinity you need and then some.”

If you know what “Toxic Masculinity” is you’re more informed than most. Or you’re a liberal arts intersectionality major at a university somewhere.

At a website called Tolerance  (yes, really), invoking the latest made-up word in the feminist lexicon can be “tricky”:

“It’s a phrase that—misunderstood—can seem wildly insulting, even bigoted.”

Intolerant, insulting and bigoted? That’s quite a trifecta! (And, as an added bonus, if you were offended by the phrase then it would be your fault for ‘misunderstanding.’) We guess Cow Bell Boy thought he’d ‘trigger’ Millsap with his insult. That boy was barking up the wrong redwood.

Joey Gibson, the founder of “Patriot Prayer,” a pro-freedom, anti-Antifa group and who is all-too-familiar with Cow Bell Boy, gave VictoriaTaft.com his own definition of “Toxic Masculinity.”

Warning to Cow Bell Boy, you may be triggered:

“The term “toxic masculinity” is only used by boys who have tried their entire lives to be men but never figured out how. So instead they insult other men.”

Gibson, a former U.S. Senate candidate, told KGW-TV recently that America is getting soft and we need men and women to stand up for what’s right:

“We’re here to promote freedom and God and that’s about it. We’re the American Spirit where we stand up for our beliefs unapologetically and unafraid. Our country’s getting soft, it’s getting soft and we need leaders to step up.”

Meanwhile, back at Strickland’s presentus-interruptus, Cow Bell Boy only took his leave when he thought he’d burned enough of Strickland’s time to prevent him from giving his speech before the building curfew.

Cow Bell Boy, or one of his buddies, told VictoriaTaft.com via Twitter (more on that later) that he was never escorted out by police as I reported Wednesday. I can see by this angle of Andy Ngo’s video (above) that the Antifa protester was absolutely correct. Police response was even worse than I thought.

Coming to hear Strickland was a calculated act of bravery. Those gutsy enough to come to downtown Portland after dark to hear about Strickland’s case knew the cops wouldn’t have their back. They knew if they defended themselves or attempted to resume order in the room that they’d end up like Strickland: arrested, jailed, tried, convicted and deprived of their rights.

Strickland’s conviction is on appeal at the Oregon Appeals Court and is he represented by nationally known attorney Robert Barnes.

Here’s a link to his defense fund which has been set up by the Oregon Firearms Federation. Please give generously.

Antifa ‘Protesters’ Shout Down PSU Free Speech Presentation by Mike Strickland and Police Do … Nothing.

An Antifa protester holds a Cascadia flag in front of a projector to prevent Mike Strickland from showing supporting media for his First Amendment presentation

This post has been updated to indicate that Portland State Police did *not* escort out the Antifa/Anarchist free speech disruptors.

Before Ann Coulter, Milo and Ben Shapiro were met by the fire bombing mobs who would later become widely known as Antifa, there was Mike Strickland. In 2016, Strickland was arrested, charged and convicted in Portland for drawing his legally concealed weapon to stop a phalanx of Antifa protesters who conspired to beat the citizen journalist out of their Don’t Shoot Portland/Black Lives Matter protest in downtown. No shots were fired. No one was hurt.

As a result of the widely publicized incident, Portland State University and Portland Community College campuses banned Strickland for two years.

As I wrote this week, there was a simple reason why banning him was irresistible:

Though the incident didn’t occur near any of the campuses, Strickland was well known by campus administrators for reporting on the speeches, marches and antics of the University professors and protesters. Protesters included the Occupy, Antifa, IWW (Wobblies) and ISO, as well as the usual Portland Professional Protesters, Incorporated™ social justice, environmentalist, anti-Israel groups. Strickland’s reports on those campuses made national news. University and College administrators saw an opportunity to keep their well known antagonist off campus and took it.

VictoriaTaft.com

Tuesday night, Strickland was back on campus in front of a group of College Republicans, live streaming cameras and citizens and tried to tell his compelling story (read many of my stories here). However, some Portland area Anarchist/Antifa antagonists were also there and had different plans.

Strickland was shouted off the stage several times by a man interrupting the speech with wild rantings, screaming and using the new anti-free speech weapon of the moment … a cowbell.

Strickland, Laughing at Liberals on YouTube, posted this video of the dingle dangler:

He dingle dangled his bell and spoke over Strickland, who kept a smile on his face for the 68 minutes it took cops to get rid of them. More on that in a minute.

Cowbell Ringing person interrupts Strickland’s presentation.

The agent provocateur identified himself as “Sawyer” and silenced his cowbell only long enough to stand in front of Strickland’s projector, preventing the citizen journalist from showing video and supporting documents about his case.

The last time we saw “Sawyer” he was heckling a bunch of men with the Proud Boys in downtown Portland and one of his fellow Antifa mates got hit by a truck. Notice that “Sawyer” never stops talking into his megaphone:

This is Sawyer’s co-conspirator. Austin Goodrich is well known to some area folks for all the wrong reasons. This apparent Bernie Bro has allegedly harassed, stalked and threatened people in Hillsboro who displayed Trump for President signs in 2016.

He was back Tuesday night to apparently harass and intimidate Strickland and people there supporting him, such as 83-year-old Kay Bridges who is herself a citizen journalist and was live streaming the event on Facebook. View her video here:

Mike Strickland has been scheduled to speak at PSU College Republicans for months… but the Cowbell Crew tries to shut him down. This is hard to watch … but we had as many as 60 at a time on the LIVE feed including Victoria Taft and Mike's trial attorney. It was after Mike asked if he could file charges and Campus Police said NO .. and then I said "What about me." and he didn't answer …suddenly the guys decided to leave. Hmmmmm….. So if any of you have seen the Oregon Push Back Page …. Mike and the implication of his appeal nationally is what is at stake here in Oregon. This is a small example. If you don't know the whole story… please research. He was defending his First Amendment Right with his Second Amendment Right and was charged and convicted while the MOB became the victim according to the judge. It is a long story .. and we can elaborate but time is short for tonight. OregonPushBack.com

When asked who the two main antagonizers were, this is what several said about Goodrich:

Austin later remarked over on my Facebook page that he wasn’t an Antifa member and scoffed at being called a Bernie Bro. Here’s Austin’s Facebook page:

“Creating action.” “Family First.” Gee, he seemed like such a nice guy I thought I’d ask him for a quote:

Those watching the spectacle saw the dramatic difference between the ‘protesters’ and the behavior of the man Antifa and company have lied about for going on three years, Mike Strickland.

Randi commented:

“What a contrast between calm, cool, collected, courteous Mike Strickland, and a room full of out of control motor mouth kooks, with nothing better to do than shut down Mike’s privilege to speak.”

Katie said:

“If this is how they act when law enforcement was around, then we know how they acted when they surrounded and attacked you. They really are afraid of what Mike may have to say.”

Another said:

“To bypass the one-man cowbell choir, Mike’s presentation begins at about 68:00 minutes into this video due to the Breach of Peace.”

Edwin wrote:

“I wish people would remember this. This is America. Every citizen has the right of free speech. Even if you don’t like or agree with what that person is saying. They have the right to free speech. And yes even hate speech is free speech.”

Lauri said:

“The first 45 minutes were the most telling I don’t know how Michael put up with all of that hate. The haters rang bell’s and screamed at him and talked over him and put them selves between him and the projector to make it impossible for him to give this lecture”

And Jack had an excellent question:

“Why the hell are the cops just standing there like zombies?”

Why the hell, indeed.

A real head scratcher, this.

As the cowbell and scream fest continued. Strickland was banished to the back of the room since he couldn’t speak over Antifa’s noise. But they found him and surrounded him again.

(The young woman (pictured above) claims to have been a reporter from the student newspaper, “The Vanguard,” but you wouldn’t know it from her behavior. She spoke over Strickland, clearly sided with Antifa protesters and treated Strickland with obvious disdain. She’ll be with the Washington Post any day now.)

The spectacle was all in view of the PSU cops.

Portland State University’s finest.

Strickland told VictoriaTaft.com that he spoke with Sgt. Halliburton (pictured above) and asked him at what point would they consider the situation disorderly conduct and he replied, “I’ll decide when.”

For the attorneys in the audience, that was the wrong answer.

Jason Short, one of Strickland’s attorneys during his first trial and who was watching the livestream of the event, opined that it looked like disorderly conduct, but conceded college cops in Portland were unlikely to do anything.

James Buchal, attorney and the head of the Multnomah County Republican Party suggested to VictoriaTaft.com that it might have been Disorderly Conduct by the cowbell ringing pair:

1)A person commits the crime of disorderly conduct in the second degree if, with intent to cause public inconvenience, annoyance or alarm, or recklessly creating a risk thereof, the person:

(a)Engages in fighting or in violent, tumultuous or threatening behavior;

(b)Makes unreasonable noise;

(c)Disturbs any lawful assembly of persons without lawful authority;”

We have a winner!

Police escorted the duo out of the room only after Strickland implored them to do so saying he wanted to file a complaint.

After talking with the officers on site, the Antifa/Anarchist disruptors, including Cow Bell Boy, left.

That [Writing a report] apparently sounded like too much work for the officers and they escorted the two out of the room. No report was taken that VictoriaTaft.com was aware of as of publication.

Strickland was able to continue with his speech, but not before Antifa’s antics had burned up most of the College Republicans reserved time in the room.

Mission Accomplished.

Strickland’s case is under appeal at the Oregon Court of Appeals. A decision on his case is expected any time.

Strickland’s Defense Fund has been set up by Oregon Firearms Federation. Please give generously here.

Jeff Merkley, (D. Antifa) Announces to Avid Supporters that He Will Remain in Obscurity

Oregon’s Jeff Merkley, (D. Antifa) announced Tuesday that he will not run for President of the United States.

Reaction was swift:

Had he thrown his black balaclava into the ring Merkley would have become the 15th candidate running on the Leftist side of the political aisle. The slate of Democrats/Socialists who have announced so far is: Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Kirsten Gillibrand, Amy Klobuchar, Jay Inslee, John Hickenlooper, Julián Castro, Tulsi Gabbard, John Delaney, Pete Buttigieg, Andrew Yang, Marianne Williamson. More, such as Joe Biden, Beto O’Rourke and others are still coyly hanging back. Hillary Clinton and former Attorney General Eric Holder announced yesterday that they would not run for office.

Merkley released his announcement on Twitter to avid supporters.

The 62-year-old former Princeton and Stanford student told them of his family’s hardscrabble upbringing, including a story – “family lore” – that his grandmother slept in a boxcar of a train for a short time.

Merkley’s name recognition might have been an issue in his now-erstwhile run for president. Few people know who he is. However, Oregon’s ‘Accidental Senator’ keeps the door open to a Cabinet position with a Bernie Sanders Administration. It’s clear that Jay Inslee (he’s Washington State’s Governor and also running for president) has the inside track to become Sanders’s “green czar” and is said to be preparing his first ‘five year plan’ for the demise of the U.S. capitalist economy, using the Alexandria Ocasio Cortez “Green New Deal” as his blueprint.

So, the world says goodbye to a possible Merkley presidency, remote though it may have been. Oregonians are lamenting a missed opportunity to get rid of him from the U.S. Senate and now Jeff Merkley will go back to obscurity.
