As I’ve reported here and here, the Antifa/Anarchist protester who disrupted a presentation on free speech by Mike Strickland was bragging about his ‘success’ within hours of leaving Portland State University Tuesday night:
In fact, as you may have seen by the video taken by journalist Andy Ngo and picked up by The Daily Caller, Cow Bell Boy was bragging about how he’d “shut this entire shit down all by myself” before he left to go home to his mom’s basement:
Videographer Nate Millsap verbally challenged the protester and his buddies to state their business instead of simply shutting down the speaker. See how that went here.
After the more than hour-long disruption, Mike Strickland was able to continue to talk about his case, freedom and liberty, albeit a truncated version.
Free speech my ass.
Strickland was prosecuted for pulling his licensed concealed carry handgun to stop a phalanx of Antifa protesters who had conspired to beat him out of a July 2016 Don’t Shoot Portland/Black Lives Matter protest. They’d already beaten him once at the same event. No shots were fired. In fact, Strickland was so poised during the onslaught that his finger never came close to the trigger. For defending himself he was sent to jail. His case is on appeal.
