When I heard about this story last night I thought what a dumb rule: No “smoking” electronic cigarettes? Why? There’s no smoke, for goodness’ sake. But it turns out there was more to the story of an unruly passenger traveling from Portland to Houston. Our media here didn’t cover that part of the story, but Houston’s did. See the video below.

It turns out the man began screaming at the flight attendant when he couldn’t sit next to his friend. According to witnesses he was saying:

 “Allah is Great! Allah is Great”

The plane full of brawny Texans subdued him.
