Responding to the dual suicide car bombings in Baghdad today, killing some 136 people and injuring hundreds more, Barack Obama said, “I strongly condemn these outrageous attacks on the Iraqi people, and send my deepest condolences to those who have lost loved ones. These bombings serve no purpose other than the murder of innocent men, women and children, and they only reveal the hateful and destructive agenda of those who would deny the Iraqi people the future that they deserve.”
He labeled the attacks as a “Hateful Attempt to Derail Progress” in Iraq.
He has yet to realize that you cannot depend on the good will of those who have no good will.
His display of weakness to the world in Iraq and in dithering time away in deciding when to decide on reinforcing the Troops in Afghanistan signals to the Taliban and Afghanistan what they have been waiting for, our surrendering once again and letting them back into power.
A leader must lead, Barack, not wring their hands.
