U.S. Supreme Court will take Washington States R-71 case

At stake is State sanctioned intimidation of conservatives who may oppose same-sex marriage in Washington State should the courts rule that Gay activists may take the names, addresses and signatures of the 138,000 who signed the R-71 petition in 2009, an effort to block Washington States enhancement of the Domestic Partnership Law, and place them on a public searchable website.

Not thought of by Gay activists and leftists is that future petitions they may initiate for a cause they support could also be subjected to such intimidation tactics.

Should the courts rule in favor of the Gay activists, citizen intimidation could become State sanctioned, thereby effectively ending citizen involvement in State government.
