Shocking news that Whitney Houston, 48 was found dead today in a Beverly Hilton hotel room.

Cause of death unknown at this time.

She did have battles with drugs and alcohol in the past that harmed her voice over the years. She was to attend a pre-Grammies party this evening.

A shame to lose such a talent first to drugs, then to unknown cause of death.
