Oregonians for Immigration Reform plan a protest in Potterville on Wednesday morning at 9:30 am outside the Portland City Hall (1221 SW 4th Ave. 4th and Jefferson) to call to account Mayor Tom Potter for his support of illegal immigration in Portland.
In previous posts you’ve read how the mayor is urging the city to pay for an illegal alien day labor center and flophouse and now he’s criticized the feds for busting criminals who have come to this country to get a paycheck and other items (Section 8 housing, welfare, WIC, day care subsidies, EITC just to name a few). He even declared that Portland cops wouldn’t help in these efforts (although we’re told they did help with traffic control during the bust at Fresh Del Monte) and instead dispatched social workers some of whom knew IN ADVANCE about the bust.
For these and many other reasons, OFIR is calling for a rally to tell Tom he’s wrong.
