Obama Thinks US Soldiers Use AK 47’s

President Obama tried to convince the National Urban League last night, that he’s really, really, really —REALLY– serious about getting guns out of bad peoples’ hands. After running from the losing political issue of gun control since the Aurora, Colorado theater shootings, the President attempted to strike a blow for mediocrity by declaring he wants back ground checks on people who want guns! He wants to make sure nutters’ don’t get guns! He wants to make sure criminals don’t get guns! The bromide-filled “and the sun

came up today” speech touted stuff we’re already doing, of course.

If the President really wanted to strike a blow against gun violence he would have would have announced the halt of his administration’s sale of “assault weapons” to Mexican drug gangs.

But then the President moved from the politics of guns into something about which he knows even less than I do, to wit: actual guns.
