The City of Portland is looking for someone to build these navel gazing twits a green roof.
I remember when the Mult Co Commissioners spent hundreds of thousands ($343,000 to be exact) on a green roof. This, of course, was at the time that the ladies running the county were trying to create MultCo into their own images irrespective of the voters. It was silly then and it’s silly now. Check this out: now the city of Portland wishes to put a green roof on top of the historical city hall that taxpayers just spent millions restoring! Keeping up with the girls isn’t as important as keeping track of the money being misspent. Look at the RFP here. Look at that piece of junk above. $343,000???? Imagine what it will cost now for the city building.
