The message out of Sanford, Florida is this: it’s not OK to be racist unless it’s against a white person. This is one of the conclusions I’ve reached following the tragic shooting of 17 year old Trayvon Martin in February.
How else to explain why racial grievance peddlers Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have been skulking around Sanford, Florida to turn up the heat on George Zimmerman–a hispanic man? Oh, I’m sorry, a “White Hispanic” man as the New York Times put it. The reason the NYT said,
Logo Includes His Address! Mr. Zimmerman, 28, a white Hispanic, told the police that he shot Trayvon in self-defense after an altercation.
is because it’s OK to go after the Hispanic Zimmerman because he’s a “white Hispanic.”
As Ann Coulter recently said on the Laura Ingraham Show:
“It’s a lynch mob. This isn’t how we try cases in this country and the last time you saw this sort of thing on a regular basis was of course again from the Democratic Party and the Democratic Party’s outgrowth — the KKK.“
She’s right. Besides the usual twitter hate we’ve talked about before (here), now the racists clamoring for the lynching of “White Hispanic” George Zimmerman have updated sheets! Ladies and Gentlemen I give you the “George Zimmerman Lynch Mob” hoodie.
