They didn’t steal the furniture
Steal buttons on keyboards
Shut them out.
He didn’t shame the office.
He didn’t get ‘serviced’ in the Oval Office
He didn’t rip anyone off in a land deal
Didn’t have a political enemies list; stealing names from the FBI
He didn’t sell the Lincoln bedroom
He gave the Obamas room to transition into the job
And then he left.
Thank you George W Bush. You protected our country, fought hard for our freedom, fought hard to regain the muscularity of the office which was given in the constitution and frittered away by previous Presidents.
History will treat you kindly.
I didn’t agree with you on everything but you did not disgrace us.
