$4,906 – $6,889 MONTHLY
This employment opportunity is with the Office of the Director/Office of Communications (OC) which is part of the Department of Human Services (DHS). There is one full-time opening located in Salem. This position is management service and is not represented by a union.
This recruitment announcement will be used to establish a list of qualified candidates to fill the current vacancy and may be used to fill future vacancies as they occur.
Please be aware that due to the economic downturn and subsequent state budget short-fall the Governor has ordered mandatory furloughs for employees. This position will be required to take furloughs in the biennium 2009-2011.
QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, the Behavioral or Social Sciences or related degree and five years professional level experience in Public Relations or Affairs.
OR
Eight years experience directly related to Public Relations or Affairs; five of the eight years must have been at the professional level.
