Thousands of Union Members and Social Services Advocates were bused into Chicago to rally for Tax Increases, chanting Raise my taxes! Raise my taxes! Raise my taxes! Raise my taxes! Raise my taxes!
Did it ever dawn on them that they are free to send any extra check they desire to the IRS or State of Illinois?
I’d say it is a safe bet it isn’t really their taxes they want raised.
And, of course, it’s all “For The Children.” Yeah, right.
