Ga. Seniors Told They Can’t Pray Before Meals

The absolute lunacy from the left continues. A news report from WSB-TV out of Atlanta, Georgia tells us that staff from Senior Citizens Inc., who supplies meals to Senior Homes and is partially funded with Federal Dollars, “recently visited the center and noticed people praying shortly before lunch was served.”

Company officials say meals are “mostly covered with federal money, which ushers in the burden of separating church and state.” Tim Rutherford, Senior Citizens Inc. vice president, said, “We can’t scoff at their rules. It’s a part of the operational guidelines.”

Seniors there are told to “have a moment of silence” before their meals instead of a audible prayer. Mayor Glenn “Pig” Jones is outraged and with City Attorneys is seeking a resolution.

This continued push of Separation of Church and State leaves me asking, when do we begin practicing Separation of Mosque and State with the same fervor?
