The following is the public schedule for Congressman Kurt Schrader for the coming weekend. Members of the press are invited and encouraged to attend any of the following events. Congressman Schrader will be available for interviews immediately following the events.

Congressman Schrader will host Congress on Your Corner in Portland (Burlingame). Congress on Your Corners allows constituents to meet one-on-one with Congressman Schrader to discuss questions and concerns about federal issues. This event is open to all constituents.

Congressman Schrader will visit and tour the Salem Social Security office to discuss services provided and the processing of applications.

Congressman Schrader will present the National Association of State Boards of Education (NASBE) Award for Outstanding Leadership in Voter Education to the League of Women Voters (LWV) of Oregon Education Fund. The LWV of Oregon Education Fund was named a recipient of this award due to outstanding work coordinating activities and education during the 2008 Oregon Student Mock Election.
