Shortly before 8 PM Friday evening, a 30 year old woman was approached by a man after exiting a Hazel Dell Restaurant demanding money. When he turned his attention elsewhere, she was able to retrieve her 9MM pistol, placing it in the waistband of her pants.

As he turned his attention back to her, she raised her shirt and displayed the pistol, causing the would be robber to flee.

With her help, Clark County Sheriff’s Deputies were able to take the man into custody shortly after wards.

Once again, an armed citizen was able to protect herself and her 5 year-old child until Police were able to arrive.
