A 5th Listener shot these photos of the Bus Project bus pulled over by Beaverton cops, sniffer dogs, and the Beaverton Police Drug Interdiction Team. The bus sat for nearly an hour alongside Highway 26 near the 185th exit.

We were told  by Beaverton Police that the Bus Project Volunteers were being taken to Horning’s Hideaway for an annual three day rock concert. Why the Bus Project provides volunteers for a rock concert isn’t known. Tweets out to Oregon Bus Project founder, Jefferson Smith, a candidate for Portland Mayor, for a comment have not been returned.

The Beaverton Police told me they have been working on this Op for several days and have made more than three dozen arrests.

The rampant drug and alcohol at Horning Hideaway by a concert goer last year resulted in the death of my former neighbor Cindy Rabe who was hit by the drugged driver while she was jogging. He’s doing ten years in prison for her death.

The Bus Project is also under scrutiny by Citizen Journalist James O’Keefe, who told me on the show today that there was underage drinking and drug use on the Bus Project while he filmed an expose of their antics. A series of videos about the Oregon Bus Project are expected to come around September. James says he may roll out some of his tape a little early in light of today’s events.

The Bus Project has a sketchy past. While it provides volunteers for leftist political candidates, it also has used volunteers for blatant electioneering while giving them school credit. See my previous posts on the Bus Project here,  here,  here,   here,  here,  here,.
