Portland Police Bureau Officers have been told to NOT serve warrants inside Occupy Portland’s camp site, according to a source who informed former Multnomah County Sheriff, Bernie Giusto, during his weekly visit on the Victoria Taft Show on AM860 KPAM Radio.
Giusto called the source, “impeccable.” He would NOT reveal the name to the public.
One PPB Officer who called into the “Week’s End With Bernie” regular Friday segment on the Victoria Taft Show told us he hadn’t heard that directive, but understood why it might be handed down. The self described Officer told us serving warrants might stir up the crowd encamped at “Occupy Portland” site.
Media who do not want to be two weeks late on this story as they were on the story of Bruce McCain trying to get permits for the parks and was unable to, would be wise to check with their sources on the PPB.
So far at “Occupy Portland” sex offenders, drug dealers, a variety of drunks, deadbeats and tweakers have made their home there. A convicted rapist shoved a cop into the path of a moving bus also calls “Occupy Portland” home.
Imagine who else could be getting a pass by Sheriff’s Deputies, Marshalls and cops at the behest of Mayor Sam Adams and Chief Mike Reese.
