A meeting in Olympia today will help answer the question. Mike Reitz of the Evergreen Freedom Foundation blog here drew our attention to the issue. The question is absurd, of course. When government isn’t trying to marginalize bloggers (here), they’re working to declare them too powerful and designate them as lobbyists. Seriously.
This is intended to shut them up. This is an attempt to keep them from encouraging people to contact lawmakers to effect a vote outcome or what have you. They’re even wondering if COMMENTERS on blogs are lobbyists and thus reportable. Oy.
