We’ve got the soundbite of Sam Adams saying so recently but I read this morning in the Portland Tribune that development charges will have to go up by as much as six times and the “overlay” or “halo” (sounds so angelic, doesn’t it? Portland planners are on the side of angels!) may be expanded to stick everyone with the bill. Jim Redden of the Trib has the story here.
