“Anonymous” (Guy Fawkes) Masks

Andy McCarthy points out in our interview today (here) that there’s no surprise we saw anarchist symbols and Guy Fawkes masks in the crowd storming the US Embassy in Cairo. He’s written a book about it.

In his book The Grand Jihad: How Islam and the Left Sabotage America, he warns of, as Heritage described it,

“…[T]he government’s active appeasement of Islamism and its ideology.  With the help of witting and unwitting accomplices in and out of government, Islamism doesn’t merely fuel terrorism but spawns America-hating Islamist terrorist enclaves in our very midst, gradually foisting the repressive concepts of sharia law on American life.  The revolutionary doctrine has made common cause with an ascendant Left that also seeks radical transformation of our constitutional order.”

McCarthy spoke recently to the Heritage Foundation on his book.
