…And he does it with his anti coal exporting proclamation the other day. We have only one coal plant in Oregon–and the radical enviros are already planning to shut it down at the cost, by the way, of more than 2400 jobs. 
The coal the governor wants to shut down with his latest frisson of fiat is to stop Asian countries from using our coal.  The coal is mined in Wyoming and Montana and brought to our ports via rail and then shipped.
The Governor pretends to be concerned about it when he’s just simply pulling a page out of the radical environmentalist agenda and attempting to do what he can to kill the coal industry. I’ve written about the ridiculous efforts here, here and here.
It appears Cylvia Hayes, the first boo, who worships trees and parks her slippers next to her “boyfriend’s” at Mahonia Hall, is running the environmental policy. Wonder if she’s getting kickbacks from this gig, too?
