Oregon *STILL* in Play; Obama Comes to Shore Up Support

First Barack Obama sent out a pathetic missive begging for newly married couples to put him on their bridal registry because he’s worth more than a gravy boat. Then he sent one plaintively begging for money because he might be outspent this election cycle. Then his wife sent out a missive telling supporters to get their money in for the next dinnerpalooza saying it would be their last supper before the election.

Now he’s coming to Oregon to beg for money and to shore up support for what’s left of his buddies on broke base mountain. That Obama has to come to Oregon and spend money in the upcoming election to keep his base excited is a very good sign for those of us in red Oregon. He’s scurred.

I know the President thinks he’s between a Barack and hard place on money raising, but those of us in Oregon and Southwest Washington are hurting. Badly. We need a new start. We need someone who won’t continue to make things worse by spending more and more of our money.

It’s for those reasons and more that we once again dutifully report that Oregon is still in play this election cycle.
