Victim Exacts Revenge

The moral to this story, besides not stealing other people’s stuff, is: don’t pick on somebody with a pickax.
A Sherwood, Oregon man came home to find burglars in his home. He made sure they couldn’t get away by pickaxing one of the back tires. Think the homeowner was a little ticked?
From the Clackamas County Sheriff’s news release:

Sheriffmas [sic] County Deputies and Wilsonville Police respond to a burglary in progress at about 1:12pm in Sherwood near the 24000 block of Morgan Ln.  The victim pulled into his driveway and called 911 after seeing to males burglarizing his home.  He confronted the males as they fled the scene, leaving the stolen property behind.  The victim, armed with a pickax, slashed the rear tire of their car as they fled.  Their vehicle was described as a white 1990’s Nissan Sentra.  The males fled from the scene in the vehicle with a flat tire.

The victim reported the two males as Hispanic in there 20’s dressed in dark clothing.  One male was about 5′ 9″ average build wearing a dark short sleeve shirt and blue jeans.  The second male was about 5′ 7″ average build also wearing a dark colored shirt and blue jeans.
