What constitutes “Green Jobs” is a moving target. Representative Dave Edwards from Washington County seems sure that Representative Matt Wingard’s litany of jobs may come under “green jobs,” but that’s utter nonsense under this bill and Wingard knows it. Wingard’s playing with his food (Edwards) here. Edwards is trying to placate Wingard but he’s just digging himself into a deep hole. His pants are on fire. Watch Representative Mitch Greenlick at about 3:40 get nervous that Edwards is saying out loud that logging jobs might be considered “green.” Gosh, wouldn’t want to name a truly sustainable job as a ‘green’ job, would we?
