The Drudge Report is so right to wonder about this logo for the Missile Defense Agency. First, as bloggers have pointed out, it looks like a morphing of the Obama election logo and the Muslim crescent. Why this logo? Why now?Remember when we all shook our heads over the Shanksville, Pa memorial to Flight 93 on 9/11? 

See the image nearby.  People were wondering WHY the Feds and their focus groups couldn’t come up with a memorial that was, perhaps alittle, AMERICAN looking?? The Muslim Crescent wasn’t working for people. And so in this new logo for the missile defense agency we wonder the same thing. Obama, can’t you get your ego out of it long enough to recognize that we think paying homage to the crescent moon and star of the Muslim mark is offensive to some people? You’ll see here some of the previous logos of this department.
