Comments: Hello Victoria and/or Staff — I would like to bring your attention to a political news story emerging in Vancouver related to the elections for Precinct Committee Officer and make myself available for an interview if you so desire.
A group of grassroots activists consisting primarily of Paul and Santorum delegates has organized a county-wide campaign for PCOs. To our knowledge this has never been done before, and has given the establishment no shortage of indigestion. We have a specific agenda of reforming the GOP and many in the establishment are in turf protection mode.
We comprise a coalition of nearly 150 candidates, have 4×8 highway signs, have produced nearly 500 yard signs with individual PCO candidate names, nearly 50,000 slim jims and 50,000 business cards, 30,000 flyers — all for PCO RACES!
The Columbian has published articles about us in section C. We have been embraced and maligned, are being lied about regularly, our campaign signs are being stolen and vandalized at an unusually high rate.
I don’t believe this has ever been attempted with a PCO race — the county equivalent of nationalizing congressional races.
