Santelli condemned the unfairness and moral hazard of such a federal policy, and urged that if those who acted fraudulently or utterly profligately to obtain home loans they couldn’t afford, are to receive new deals with low interest rates, then such a deal should be extended to “all” Americans, more than 90% of whom didn’t lie for loans and are paying their mortgages.

In that vein, James Cramer, hugely successful on Wall Street a former hedge fund head, now leading www.TheStreet.com and hosting his own show on investing (also on CNBC), while not agreeing entirely with Santelli, has advocated a plan which he claims will stimulate the economy help cure the foreclosure crisis: “Offer all Americans 40-year mortgages at 4% interest,” the loans backed by the government.

I cannot help noting, as to the $1,000 per year gift for four years that the Orwellian Obama Administration has adopted, that this is the first time in the history of America that any administration or Congress believed that Americans should be— and can be, legally or morally– bribed by receipt of a “reward” for simply paying their bills. To do this, Obama, of course, will take from the many taxpayers who pay their bills, and give to those don’t, or won’t.

Whatever one concludes concerning Rick Santelli’s so-called “Rant Heard Around The World,” there is no doubt he has started Americans thinking.

I urge you, therefore, to inform yourself of his response to the personal attacks on him by Obama’s spokesman, who falsely charged Santelli hadn’t read Obama’s plan and who so condescendingly attempted to dismiss Santelli’s objections by prescribing he drink decaffeinated coffee– without addressing the points raised by Santelli. In attempting to degrade Santelli by sophomoric ad hominem attack, the Administration degrades the presidential office.
