    Pledge Allegiance to Obama???
I have long been an opponent to federal schooling and especially to the NEA. I would like to get your comments on this blog post I received by email. Also if any of you are in that area could you please add to this your experiences with government schooling. ********************************* ” My son, who is in 1st grade, came home yesterday saying that he didn’t want to go back to school anymore. So I asked him why? He said that during the Pledge of Allegiance the teacher put up a large image of Obama next to the flag. I asked him if he was sure of this and I suggested to him that maybe the teacher just put up an 8×10 photo of the president. He said, “No, it is a large picture of Obama and when we are done Ms. **** turns off the image.” I also asked if they did this for Bush last year? He again said, “No.” This was my sons first day back to school since before Christmas, he was on a 5 week track break.

My wife volunteers a couple of days each week with helping out with my sons teacher doing various duties. She said that she would come in early this morning to see what was going on. She just got back and reported that this was true and then some. She said she waited out in the pod area and could see inside 3 of the 5 class rooms in this section of school. She said that when the kids stand each teacher flips on the classroom overhead and a full body image of Obama, with six U.S. flags behind him, comes up about 4 feet away from the flag that hangs on the wall. She said that the image has Obama staring straight at you with no facial expressions, just a serious look. I asked my wife if Obama had his hand over his heart? She said that she was so taken aback by this that she didn’t see it. What is worse is she said that all of the kids in each class faced Obama instead of the flag that hangs in the corner.

What the heck is going on?

Guys and gals, I need some advise on how to approach this. I can be somewhat hot headed so I need to plan accordingly with what to say to the principal when we go in to inquire about this. I am sure I will be brushed off so what is my next step? Obviously it will be the school district but then who? ACLU, Veteran groups, Christian groups? Who would be interested in this vile activity?

This is happening in the Clark County School District here in Las Vegas, Henderson area”

  2. At last update, this was corrected with the pledge now being recited properly.

Doesn’t excuse it, but at least the children are said to have been taught proper flag etiquette….. now.

  3. WAKEUPAMERICA: I know what you mean about the government schools, there horrible these days. Vouchers has been part of the fight to get kids away from these Socialist Activists Masquerading as teachers and to a more traditional education for quite a while now, where they can learn to think for themselves. Rob Kremer over at KXL radio has been good at going after the liberal schools. Try to contact him for advise. Also Victoria Taft could help you. Contact her here.

  4. Sam Adams in the classroom with a cordless microphone. Just what I needed to see after the steak sandwich from Carl’s. I feel like sending someone a bill for $4.69…

  5. The rush to ruin

What’s clear is that the scoundrels in D.C. have messed up our economy with their socialist fiddling and fraud and, when the Fanny Mae/Freddie Mac pork barrel blew up in their thieving faces, they quickly deflected the attention from themselves by declaring an Official Panic that reached far wider in scope than their misdeeds.

They whipped up a Panic and everybody got on board. They used a Looming Disaster to sell the idea that they must print and blow ungodly amounts of money that they never would have otherwise been allowed to spend . . .insisting this is our only salvation and very urgent!

It was cover. And a wet dream for big spender radical socialists bent on making government all powerful.

All the pork they’ve ever dreamed about, all in one fell swoop, and all well hidden within an amount so huge it defies all understanding.

The dirty scoundrels in Congress who were stealing with both hands are perfectly willing to bankrupt our country and destroy our free market system just to cover up their part in running the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac scams.

Or was this their plan all along?

Con artists succeed when they get victims thinking they must act fast or lose out. The same tactic is right now being used on us by Congress and the Administration.

The faster they act the quicker they bury their Fannie Mae/FMac sins and take hold of the reins of a colossal and oppressive government. It is unfortunate that their heads did not roll for their great crimes.

This bunch of criminal geniuses in D.C. are charlatans and pretenders, poseurs, mountebanks, and it is their profit that we quickly swallow the proffered snake oil.

It is to our profit that we do not.

Money is not the only operator in the US economy; government spending is but one of the factors causing up or down cycles in private business. Government can only make government jobs and these are negative jobs that rely upon the growth of government and, thus. shrinkage of the private sector.

Government doesn’t create real jobs—it’s actions against the economy (taxes, regulations) provoke actions by business, either encouraging it or depressing it. Growth of the private sector can only occur in those instances where government gets out of the way.

A burdensome and costly central government uses many tools to continue its mindless growth.

Besides printing money at will, it circumscribes entrepreneurial action by means of onerous permitting processes, land use restrictions, taxes and fees. It sends its bureaucracy against the private sector not because it results in a healthy economy but because its own exponential tyranny demands a broader reach.
