In answer to congressman Franks question, should gyms have separate shower facilities, Gymnasiums are not expected to lay down their lives for the country and are not on the front lines, under the extremely high stress that soldiers are often under.

As for gays already showering with straights, yes, but it is being done discretely, unknowingly. Given the level of stress these young soldiers are under and now knowing that glance at their nether regions might not be as innocent as once thought, that’s when problems might occur.

Congressman Frank, who never served in the Military, remains clueless, as does much of today’s congress, on just how the Military operates and what these young people are expected to do and endure. Serving in the Military is far different that visiting a gym, going to college or serving in the legislature.

If, mentally undressing a person of the opposite sex, by ogling and staring at them is considered sexual harassment (inappropriate behavior at least), how can someone of the same sex mentally undressing another be considered appropriate or acceptable behavior?
