The Arizona shooter’s best friend from high school says Jared Loughner wasn’t really political, didn’t listen to talk radio, but was heavily influenced by a series of films online called, “Zeitgeist” (here and here).
For what it’s worth Wikipedia says:

The film was officially released online on June 18, 2007 on zeitgeistmovie.com.[1] In addition to being characterized as “nonsense”,[2] it has been criticized for reported factual inaccuracies, and the quality of its arguments

Friend Zach Osler says Loughner was most impacted by the third movie about the monetary system and currency. Other Zeitgeist movies deal with debunking Christianity and assert that 9/11 was an inside job. So he’s at least in the company of many liberals including former Obama Czar, Van Jones.
Am I saying these movies made him do it? Nope. Unlike our Congressional reps and supposedly reputable members of the 4th and 5th estates, I think the kid’s psychoses made him do it.
