The Beavs zip up Mike Riley with a three year extension but I’m not sure anyone thought to TEXT MESSAGE the coaches and players about that. Meantime,  USC players and coaches were told via text that Carroll is leaving. I love text messaging.It rocks. While it’s efficient, I must say that it seems a bit impersonal to find out the big guy is leaving via text.
