The St. Paul Principles
1. Our solidarity will be based on respect for a diversity of tactics and the plans of other groups.
2. The actions and tactics used will be organized to maintain a separation of time or space.
3. Any debates or criticisms will stay internal to the movement, avoiding any public or media denunciations of fellow activists and events.
4. We oppose any state repression of dissent, including surveillance, infiltration, disruption and violence. We agree not to assist law enforcement actions against activists and others.
Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to help with a variety of tasks at the March and Rally. From being a greeter to a cleaner, a marshal to a member of the noise brigade, you are needed! Plug in on the day of action.
Volunteer orientation: May 1st, 2pm at Shemanski Park
Medic check-in: May 1st, 3:30-4pm at the horse statue in the South Park Blocks (some level of first aid training, street medic training, or medical skill needed)
Tabling
There will be tables available in the park from 2-9pm.
If your group or organization would like space at a table for materials, email info@healthpdx.org. Tabling is available for groups advocating human rights, worker’s rights, and social justice. No candidate campaigning and no selling of products are allowed.
