View Point Inn owners blame state Rep. Matthew Wand for woes, cite new plan to save the fire-damaged landmark

Five days after a chimney spark ignited a fire that damaged a historic Columbia River Gorge landmark, the owners of the View Point Inn and Restaurant announced a plan to try to retain ownership of the financially-troubled hotel. The plan is dependent on the approval of a bankruptcy court trustee, who is expected to meet with the owners at 2:30 p.m.
