More later. Just got back into town and found out. Here. Just one of many Callahan cartoons that made me gasp and laugh out loud over how bawdy (and naughty) it was.
Callahan drew at least two cartoons (and maybe more) based on my talk shows. We disagreed on the Iraq war; he was deeply embittered. It was hard to talk to him about it.
He was a flawed man and showed people his flaws. He could be raw. He was genuine.
I hadn’t seen him in the hood for awhile. I didn’t realize he was so ill.
Rest in Peace.
Collect them all. Give them to your fun friends. Mock Black ‘Bloc.
