Before one person gives this man one whit of slack for his failure to pay on at least one of his three mortgages since February, let’s pause and remember WHY he says he can’t pay them. To wit (from Mercury):

“This is a private issue, but if you must know, I’ve had to pay some significant upfront legal fees, and now I’m getting caught up on my mortgage payments,” says Adams…” (emphasis added)

If he hadn’t had sex with a teenager, if he hadn’t “groomed” him, if he hadn’t lied about it, allegedly used city resources to coach the kid to lie, lied to voters about this while running for Mayor, and destroyed a few people in the process, maybe he wouldn’t have those legal bills to pay.
Just sayin’…
