Yet that hasn’t stopped the democrats from sending out another Liar Flyer that even a local newspaper calls “sleazy” to thousands of constituents in Oregon House Districts claiming Republican candidates support a sales tax (a 30% one to boot).
Yet another Liar Flyer (see previous post here) sent out by Dave Hunt, his “Future PAC,” and democrat cronies has hit the mail boxes of the constituents of aspiring Republican lawmaker, Julie Parish of West Linn. Parish believes the flyer claiming she’s in favor of the DEMOCRATS FICTIONAL 30% SALES TAX hurts her reputation–especially her professional one. Parish is the operator of a local company that SHOWS PEOPLE HOW TO SAVE MONEY WITH ONLINE COUPONS. The West Linn business owner says on her website today,

“I don’t support adding a sales tax and I’ve repeatedly said so in no uncertain terms,” said Parrish, who is campaigning on a platform of fiscal responsibility. “Oregonians are taxed enough already. I do not support a sales tax or raising taxes on Oregonians.”
Like Future PAC has done in other districts throughout the Portland area, they have attempted to raise an issue that no one is talking about or even proposing.

She told me on the Victoria Taft Show today she thinks the Democrats are desperate. I believe she’s right. This is exactly the kind of behavior people abhor and it’s this kind of sickening lying that invigorates the mainstream folks.They don’t like people lying to them. Even if the liars are democrats.
