Occupy Wall Street is desperately trying to reclaim the ‘magic’ of a year ago. Occupy Portland’s encampment hadn’t yet begun. That debacle would start October 6th 2011. But let’s remember back to what became known as OWS one year ago.

In the movie, “Occupy Unmasked,” we are reminded that OWS started with labor organizer and shock troopers at Adbusters and Lisa Fithian. They weren’t getting enough traction at OWS so, with the help of a New York Times writer/OWS activist, planted a phony story about the group
Radiohead coming to play a free concert. Poof! A crowd emerged. Occupy got noticed by the media and was immediately embraced. A hoax was born.

Millionaire Michael Moore from Movie Occupy Unmasked

Remember the good times? The rapes, OD’s, filth, lice, scabes, Hollywood stars, rappers and documentarians who came to speak to the crowds through the bullhorns? Remember the politicians like President Obama, Nancy Pelosi and assorted Democrats who embraced them? They’d all like you to forget they were ever involved. Well, maybe not Michael Moore.

You get the picture.

Just sitting here watching the UStream of today’s marching or as they prefer to call it ‘walking with purpose’ because, as one participant explained it, ‘marching’ sounds so ‘militaristic,’ I’m reminded of the nihilistic nothingness which animates this cloud of people.

Meantime, I heard some guy next to the live stream videographer announce, “Occupy Portland is in the *!!%#$%! house!”

Perhaps he took the bus Occupy Portland bragged the nurses union was providing to bus in protesters to NYC. Still owned and operated by unions I see.

Here’s my favorite part:
