On Friday afternoon I was livid to see that not only were the “occupiers” illegally camped but had also block SW Main Street between 3rd and 4th Avenues. Ironically, all of their illegal activities–from marching without a permit in the middle of Portland streets Thursday and Sunday, to camping, to blocking this street were all done under the watchful eye of the highest concentration of law enforcement in Portland: the county and federal courthouses.
I complained via twitter to Sam Adams

Is SW Main between 3rd and 4th opened up to tax paying citizens, yet? #5vtshow @MayorSamAdams @PPBPIO @PortlandPolice #OccupyPortland
And his answer?

You can complain to me. RT @VictoriaTaft Y R U allowing the rabble…Where do I complain? #5vtshow @OregonTeaParty @OccupyPdx @OccupyOregon
And what did he do? Nothing.
I called the police who told me roughly, ‘We didn’t think it was that big a deal since they’d closed it right away and it had been like that.’
This videographer took pictures of the blocked street.
