The story came over the transom last night and begged me to ask the question: will the same gun grabbing politicians now call for a dreadlock registry?

From Portland Police:

Officers arrived and spoke to the adult female victim who told police that her boyfriend assaulted her and choked her with his dread-locked hair. The victim provided a good description of the suspect and officers canvassing the neighborhood located the man and took him into custody.

The victim was transported to a Portland hospital for treatment to numerous, non-life-threatening injuries.

Can’t wait for State Senator Ginny Burdick to get her hands on this.
