Multco Sheriff, Dan Staton, says he will begin a “task force” to continue the investigation into the disappearance of Kyron Horman. The child would have been eight years old this past week. He disappeared from Skyline Elementary School on June 4th.
This latest move means the county can’t afford this investigation and it’s trying to pass off the costs onto other police agencies. But..why would THEY take on the cost?  They won’t. This is an admission that we’re at a stand still on this investigation. They’ll have to retrench and begin this case ALL OVER. This is a COLD CASE.
The change in status of the investigation wasn’t communicated to the parents until after the decision was made. Kaine and Desiree were in Chicago to tape the Oprah Winfrey Show when they found out from a reporter about the change in the investigation.
