Color us shocked. When the Zero gets it Democrats are in trouble. Excerpt below:

Democrats bent to the demands of the most liberal members of their House caucus and approved an unwise and ill-timed package of corporate and personal tax increases that has infuriated virtually every business group and commercial sector in Oregon.

Of course the daily newspaper of record continues to dither on about how it didn’t have to be this way, that the democrats could have passed more sensible taxes such as ‘jacking the kicker. The main complaint by the Zero is this: it’s just the wrong time to raise taxes. Not that raising taxes is generally a bad idea, but that it’s a bad idea right now. Maybe it’s just global cooling in hell instead of freezing.
