Fascists and Nazis Find Their Roots in the Left

So when the trolls ‘jack a thread on this blog to talk smack about these killers at the Holocaust Museum, Synogogues, being from the right, you do feel the need to direct their attention to the facts. The modern liberals, as did Mussolini and Hitler, found their home on the left. There’s a reason the Nazis have the word “socialism” in their acronym. There’s a reason Mussolini, a tyrant who ‘ran the trains on time,’ began as a creature of the left.
As Jonah Goldberg wrote in his well received book, Liberal Fascism, The Secret History of the American Left from Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning,

“American Progressivism, from which today’s liberalism descended, was a kind of Christian fascism (many called it “Christian socialism”). This is a difficult concept for modern liberals to grasp because they are used to thinking of the progressives as the people who cleaned up the food supply, pushed through the eight hour workday, and ended child labor. But liberals often forget that the progressives were also imperialists, at home and abroad. They were the authors of Prohibition, the Palmer Raids, eugenics, loyalty oaths, and, in it modern incarnation, what many call “state capitalism.”

And as we read here, Mr. Jew Hating Fruit Cake who shot up the Holocaust Museum this week, frequents some interesting web site. We also hear he’s a registered democrat but there’s no proof of that yet.
