However, the latest plan drew an immediate objection from Democratic Rep. David Wu, whose district includes much of Portland’s west side.

Wu complained that the proposal takes away about 36,000 of his 87,000 constituents in heavily Democratic Multnomah County and comes within a “Tiger Woods Drive” of moving his Southwest Portland house out of the district.

“My goal is to really maintain the spirit and integrity of the 1st Congressional District,” he said.

First, according to Willamette Week, Wu DOESN’T EVEN LIVE IN HIS OWN DISTRICT so being a “Tiger Woods Drive” of being booted out if is moot.
