Acting as if they are already members of the Wisconsin Bolshevik Teachers Union, some students shouted “racist” while others booed and hissed at fellow student, Anthony Maschek a former Army Staff Sergeant infantryman “who spent two years at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington recovering from grievous wounds.”

Maschek was shot 11 times in a 2008 firefight against extremists in Kirkuk where he broke both legs and suffered wounds to his abdomen, arm and chest.
The Purple Heart recipient is enrolled in Columbia where he is studying economics and took part in the ongoing “discussion” over reinstating ROTC on campus that has been banned for the past 42 years.
Opponents of the ROTC returning to Columbia cited the military ban on homosexuals in the last vote to reject ROTC in 2005. With the recent repeal of the policy known as Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, the bar has now been moved to the military’s current ban on transgender soldiers.
Maschek was reminding students of, “It doesn’t matter how you feel about the war. It doesn’t matter how you feel about fighting. There are bad men out there plotting to kill you,” when he was booed, hissed at and jeered, eliciting the comment from fellow Columbia student José Robledo, who commutes to Fordham Univeristy to participate in ROTC activities that the treatment of Maschek was “abhorrent.”
“The anti-ROTC side has been disrespectful and loud. They hiss and they jeer,” he said. “It’s been to the detriment of the argument.”
Robledo will soon learn, if he hasn’t already, that is common fair for the neo-com left who discourages open debate and discussions on any subject, imposing their will on all.
Maybe former Chaplain’s Assistant and fellow Marxist, Jerry Lembcke will write a book telling Maschek and Robledo that they are just spreading urban legends and myths.
