A group of folks calling themselves “Un Occupy Portland” Occupied the Occupy Portland march on Saturday. KOIN Local 6 reported on the counter protest.

The organizers, who say they won’t give their names for fear of reprisals from Occupy Portland, deployed their signs (complete with a huge banner where they hat tipped Portlandia by putting several birds over Portland–complete with bird poop) and slogged along behind the Occupiers.
One counter protester said, “We’re small in numbers but at least we’re out here.”
Another told a citizen journalist, “The message is simple, we just want these endless protests to stop. When do you stop being able to protest about something? Is everything suspect [sic] to protest now? Seems like, you know, there are better ways to go about solving problems instead of making everyone else’s life a total pain in the butt.”
