Citizen Ultimatum to the Clackamas Board Of County Commissioners
From county wide residents of Clackamas County.
The BCC must:
1. Immediately pass a resolution withdrawing the county from the Inter-governmental agreement with TriMet, terminating all participation and requesting that TriMet not extend PMLR into Clackamas County. Withdraw any support or participation in the Portland-Lake Oswego Streetcar. This would allow the county to begin a new direction sooner rather than later.
Or
2. Immediately place a measure on the May Ballot allowing county voters to decide the same.
This would be a needless waste of time and effort as the vote would likely be in excess of 80% supporting such a
measure against the PMLR, LO Streetcar and the rest of Portland’s plans for Clackamas County.
Or
3. Face an immediate citizen initiative petition, yet another battle against the voters of Clackamas County and another losing effort to obstruct the public will.
