Say "NO" to the Illegal Alien Day Labor Center

Wednesday’s the day the city may move forward with this plan to connect illegal aliens with employers who would then illegal employ them (using undoubtedly their illegally obtained ID, stealing someone’s ID).
If they weren’t illegal they could use one of the 200 temporary worker agencies within the city of Portland.

  1. Nice city, Portland. Bend over backwards for illegals and ignore the pleas of a long standing, viable, taxpaying business.

The Socialist Mecca of Portland is a self defeating city. Little wonder many are leaving it daily.

  2. Isn’t it high time for the FBI to come in and frog-march Taliban Tommy to the slammer? This is nothing but criminal aiding and abetting the illegal aliens, who, by their just being here illegally and without documentation, are criminals in their own right. And the last I heard, aiding and abetting criminal behavior was a crime. The Feds should also pick up Teddy the K and Guillermo Bradbury for the same reason.

But we know when that will happen, don’t we?

  3. I am not sure what program this is referring to, can someone provide me with an actual link to the city web page that shows its real? I will send Tom an email if I get that information.

  4. I dont read that left wing propaganda, since you titled it that way….maybe you are referring to an article on a bunch of people going out to immigrant labor camps to see if they have access to health care? Is this financed by the city of Portland? maybe I missed the article you are referring to. Without just calling elected people some title that makes them into a terrorist or a communist. Can someone actually name the laws that have been broken, I am sure we can contact some authority and turn them in, unless, we are not serious about accusing them of breaking the law and we are just saying that because these elected officials are not representing our views. Which makes us look simple minded. My votes are with Republican candidates that support prayer in school, overturning Roe V Wade and getting us some lower gas prices. Last I heard, the Saudis have raked in 5-6 trillion of our dollars in increased oil revenues since 9-11 and now they are trying to buy weapons from us. Somehow, I see these same weapons ending up in the hands of Sunni Arabs, further destabilizing the war in Iraq, making it more dangerous for our troops. I also encourage the candidates to change our immigration policies to close the border with Mexico, trade AND people, I dont want there crappy built cars or their cheap labor, unless its that hot mexican lady that comes by once a week to clean my house.

  5. Off the subject: Hey, Lew, I read your great letter in the Columbian a few minutes ago. I, too, am voting against the Port resolution. They are trying to put it all on the backs of the homeowners with no one else helping to pick up the costs. But, at least, they are trying to do it by letting the people vote on it. That is a lot more than the clowns in Olympia, led by our fake governor, would do. They would just impose and then tell the people to like it and pay up or else.

  6. Thanks, Scottie. Val Ogden has a commercial out in support of Prop 1 saying, “it will only cost homeowners $9 a month.” Whenever I hear a Politican speaking like that, the hairs on the back of my neck.

I have seen nothing about just what jobs will be in the estimated 6,000 added or who they would go to. Makes me wonder if they aren’t thinking of helping out ‘ol Tom Potter a bit.

Our taxes keep going up and entitlements keep going out. For once, maybe I’d like to spend some of my own money.
