I previously alerted the highly intelligent (with few exceptions) readers of Victoria Taft’s Blog  to the special edition of “Whistleblower” magazine entitled “Dropping the ‘H’-Bomb” (February, 2011), which is devoted entirely to information and analysis of the impact of the rushed repeal of the “Don’t Ask/Don’t Tell” policy in the “lame duck” 111th Congress after the overwhelming rejection of the Obama regime’s policies generally in the November, 2010,  elections.
In connection with that special DA/DT edition of its print magazine “Whistleblower,”  the online news service WorldNetDaily.com published a “joint statement” calling for the 112th Congress to reinstate Don’t Ask/Don’t Tell by two of America’s greatest living military heroes: Rear Admiral Jeremiah A. Denton (USN, ret.),  seven years/seven months a prisoner of war in Vietnam and later a U.S. Senator (Alabama); and Maj. Gen. Patrick H. Brady (USA, ret.), Medal of Honor (Vietnam).
Adm. Denton and Gen. Brady warn of the consequences, intended and unintended, of repeal of Don’t Ask/Don’t Tell,

and consequent creation for the first time in American history of a policy of approval and endorsement of open-homosexual conduct (not merely of homosexual self-identification) in what Gen. Brady calls a “quad military,” i.e., “heterosexual, homosexual, bi-sexual, and transgender.”
Their analysis, and those of others published in the “Dropping the ‘H’-Bomb” edition of “Whistleblower,” deserve to be read and considered in the debate on this culture-changing issue. (David Kupelian, Editor of “Whistleblower” and Managing Editor of WorldNetDaily.com, and Joseph Farah, WND founder and chief executive officer, have, for the first time, made the Feb. issue of “Whistleblower” available free, online, along with the Joint Statement of Adm. Denton and Gen. Brady. Go to www.WorldNetDaily.com.)
I alert you now to consider the thought-provoking current issue of “Whistleblower” entitled: “States of Rebellion: How legislators and governors nationwide are openly challenging a rogue president.”  The articles contain information and analysis pertaining to a wide range of acts of the once-sovereign states in opposition to the overreaching expansion of the federal government  under the Obama regime notwithstanding the limitations on the central government and the express provisions by the Tenth Amendment reserving to the states and the people the authority  to govern themselves on all but the enumerated powers.
I want to alert you also to a letter-to-the editor in “Whistleblower” pertaining to “Don’t Ask/Don’t Tell,” by San Diego Attorney Charles S. LiMandri, Western Regional Director of the Thomas More Law Center, who has been the lead attorney for many years fighting the ACLU to save the Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial. LiMandri writes:

“Thank you for your excellent ‘Dropping The “H”-Bomb’ issue of Whistleblower [Feb.,2011]. The fact is that the liberals disrespect our nation’s heroes (both living and dead) and are headed by a ‘progressive’ (pro-Moslem) president who has led our nation down a dark and dangerous path.
“I believe the emasculation of our military, through the disgraceful repeal of  ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t tell,’ is the final step that has left us with an anti-Christian government that George Washington would neither recognize nor respect.
“Patriotic Americans have been made to watch in disbelief as Obama and his minions have systematically dismantled the moral and religious foundations of our nation that Washington and our other enlightened founders had built up with their great courage and sacrifice.
“I honestly do not think our nation, as we have known it, can survive this immoral onslaught.  If it is not already too late for us, it certainly will be before Obama is out of office. Let’s continue to work and pray for a miracle, as that is what it will take to save our once great nation from eventual defeat, given its continuing tragic decline.”
“Charles S. LiMandri, Western Regional Director, Thomas More Law Center, San Diego, California.”

Whistleblower editor David Kupelian, added this:

“Editor’s note: The letter-writer, attorney Charles S. LiMandri, has done more than any other human being to save Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial ‘as it is, where it is,’ with the Latin Cross intact, despite the ACLU and others’ attempts for two decades to destroy it.  Since the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals recently held the memorial to be unconstitutional, the case is destined for the Supreme Court.”

I know Attorney Charles LiMandri, and I know what David Kupelian writes about him in “Whistleblower” is absolutely true.  Charles LiMandri has done remarkable work, entirely pro bono, as the lead attorney defending Mt. Soledad. He in fact “has done more than any other human being to save Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial ‘as it is, where it is, with the Latin Cross intact….” I know that about Attorney Charles LiMandri.  More Americans should know it, particularly veterans.
As a veteran, I salute Charles S. LiMandri;  as a civil rights lawyer, I respect and admire him; as an American patriot, I am grateful to him for making the fight which must be made if we are to preserve for our posterity the  American freedom and values which the Founding Fathers bequeathed to us.
For God And Country Forever; Surrender To The ACLU–Never!
