It’s all they’ve got, I guess. Attorneys for the man who twice tried to set off a bomb he believed would vaporize thousands of Portlanders at “The Tree” lighting ceremony last November, will go for the “entrapment” defense. They’ve asked for documents pertaining to training techniques for FBI officers.
Mohamed Mohamud was arrested by the FBI soon after trying to set off a van load of what he thought were explosives. He’s alleged to have purchased parts for and twice dialed a cell phone which he was told would set off the bomb.

The FBI built the “bomb.”

In court documents obtained by Fox 12, Mohamed Mohamud’s lawyers say FBI agents steered Mohamud into the crime.

Former federal prosecutor, Andy McCarthy, tells me there’s one sure fire question he’d ask in a courtroom in this trial. He’d turn to the jury and ask them what it would take for them to be talked into vaporizing thousands of people. What would it take for you to be talked into murdering one?
